Meet the Author

Elizabeth Withey grew up in rural Saskatchewan and studied at the University of Victoria and University of Oxford. She has worked as a staff writer at the Edmonton Journal since 2004. Her feature stories and columns have earned numerous prizes, including a 2012 Society for Feature Journalism award (first prize, general commentary) and a 2009 National Newspaper Award citation of merit (arts&entertainment). She lives in Edmonton.
