Hello? Is anyone out there?"

"The End of the world has given us a harsh, merciless existence, where nature tries hard to push mankind to the very brink of extinction. Everything is against us, between us...

“Untold miles of lawless, apocalyptic roads wait for our feet, and the Future, cold and dark, offers little comfort. Without CHANGE, there will be no peace. Only Survivors."

"Set along the lines of The Stand and The Postman, this is a chilling vision of the collapse of all society in the year 2012 and the rebirth of a nation by those who survived. It’s so much more than just another fantasy series." -The Review Shop

    dont buy it

great book but if you already read Book One The Survivors Book Two On the Road and Book Three Safe Haven like I did. Thought this was a new book would be upset. Like I was. This is a combo off all three books. The above books are 0.99 each.

Great Story poor editing but worth the read.

    I Loved It!

While it could use a professional edit, it's clear from the start that this book isn't like the other apocalypse novels. You're given a real reason why the war happened and then thrown into the middle of the chaos as it self destructs. Very realistic. From there, it goes into the story, catching up with those who survived and their personal stories sucked me right in. I couldn't wait to turn the page. It was full of the stuff I'd been looking for in other books and while bits of it are hard to read due to grammar issues, I highly recommend it for anyone who worries over 2012 or the end of the world. Mrs. White's vision is chilling. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.

    more from this reviewer

    Not worth the money.

I never write a bad review, but after paying decent money for this, I feel I bought the right to do so.
The sentence structure was so bad that it was often incomprehensible. The writer does not know how to use contractions or make plurals.
The story was not suspenseful. It was a confusing mismash of thought processes of the real/majical characters with a little action thrown in.
Boy was I suckered in on this one.

This book is poorly written and in desperate need of editing. The story line is unfocused and becomes very repetitive, and some of the events are implausible even for a fantasy novel. That said, the author has some native talent as a storyteller, but needs to take the time to hone and develop her craft  before she is ready for publication.

Enjoyed this very much and which to continue the series, only I'm lost! Went from Kenn seeing Angie and Marc through the window to the next book having Angie at an airport. What have I skipped? Thought Adrian's Angles was the next book after Safe Heaven. I bought the three book Life After War. Did it only do a little of Safe Heaven, (preview). I really want to keep reading so if I'm needing to get Safe Heaven to get the full story please inform me. I really want to follow this group. I would tell others to read these books if I can get it going correctly.

I really loved all three of these books. The characters and the story was very memorable. Yes, there were problems with editing and one of the books came in so small, no matter how I tried, I could not get it big enough to read. I finally bought another copy in Large Print. Was hoping there would be more in this series.

these books are truly a dark fantasy reader's dream come true.

these books are truly a dark fantasy reader's dream come true. the characters in these books are so real, you find yourself loving them, hating them, cheering for them or wanting to knock them out. its rare that a book can make you wonder bout the outcomes of fictional people and draw you in to a story with this kind of depth. MUST READ!

Great Book Series!  Setting is post war in the year 2012; the one that destroys the world.  The story has a lot of characters
to get to know, many story lines and plots.  It is well written, creative and detailed.  The reason I didnt give it 5 stars was for
the proofing and editing that should have been done better.  It isn't so bad you cant understand the writer, just should have been done.
This selection is books 1-3 but you may want to look purchasing them separately since book 1 is currently free.  It may be cheaper that
way.  Highly recommend.  Keeps you reading and wanting more.
