Overview

Containing a Faithful Account of the Fortunes, Misfortunes, Uprisings, Downfallings and Complete Career of the Nickelby Family. There once lived, in a sequestered part of the county of Devonshire, one Mr. Godfrey Nickleby: a worthy gentleman, who, taking it into his head rather late in life that he must get married, and not being young enough or rich enough to aspire to the hand of a lady of fortune, had wedded an old flame out of mere attachment, who in her turn had taken him for the same reason. Thus two people who cannot afford to play cards for money, sometimes sit down to a quiet game for love. 19 Century Book from Charles Dickens.

I got this free Nicholas Nickelby and it is a pretty good edition. Almost completely legible. The other reviews say that this is a bad edition but i found it decent. It is pretty much hit or miss with these freebies. The story is great but long, 755 pages. I highly recomand:-)

Nothing but typos! It's like trying to read this novel in a foreign language of which you know only a few words. Don't bother with it.

I was looking for a decent free edition. This is not it. It's full of typos. Not worth the effort.
