A Review From A Fellow Being

This film was thrilling, passinate, and truley captured the ways of the inprofections of life as well as people. It carries you through the character's ups and downs through different heights of emotion. I think anyone can relate to these different emotions, and that is something that makes us feel like we're not alone.

A Deep and Lasting Source of Inspiration.

This movie, for me, was provocative, honest, liberating and tremendously inspiring. With much credit to Hayden Christensens' performance. It has also made a lasting impression on me personally as it is difficult not to identify with each staring character and the story is simple yet captures the depth and magnitude of the human psyche and the typical American family. A favorite, indefinitely.

    Building Their Own Foundation

This movie was excellent! It is very rare that we come across a movie that tells how people connect to one another. It was a very deep, passionate movie. Not everyone will be able to enjoy it, but those who get the depths of it will. You have a story of a lost young boy, a man who wishes he had done more with his life, a lost and confused wife and mother.....and the ending is a peaceful ending. I highly recommend this movie to anyone seeking a little more out of a movie.

    Where are the songs w/lyrics?

This is lovely if I want to take a nap or have a cocktail party but where are the "real" songs? I think I'm missing something too!

    Melodies of the Heart

Anyone who has seen the movie knows that it is a story that tugs at the soul. One of its greateset strengths, almost as powerful as the directing, acting, and script, is the music, assembled in one of the most beautiful and touching soundtracks I have yet heard. The score is wonderful, the sound quality is perfect, and all the emotions of the film are captured in this music. A must have for any music lover.
