having spent more than 40 years studying this book, i remain amazed at how much more there is to learn each time i work my way through it. Currently i am working on a page by page, paragraph by paragraph systematic study and seeing entirely new aspects. it is a book to grow with and to treasure, time and time again as it widens the perspective, enhances the understanding and soothes the soul.
Not for the foggy-brained (of which I am all too often one) but with sufficient quiet and stillness (internal and external), provides a fine discipline and engagement for helping the foggy-brained to emerge from their stupor. The most precise rendering of all possible options of thinking about the Reality that our Earth (and environs) presents to us, that I have ever read. Gave me hope for humanity where hard knocks, ecological mayhem, and nasty individuals had gotten me to thinking there *was* no hope, and made me realize I am not a Buddhist.
