Meet the Author

Joy and Ken are both BIOLA graduates. During forty plus years in the ministry, Kenneth served in camps for junior age as well as family camps and initiated an annual family week for children through adults. While in bi-vocational ministry, he taught third through fifth grade in public school. Before marriage, Joy worked under a home mission board in the Ozarks, teaching children of all ages. In their churches, she taught every age including young children. She was heavily involved in teacher training. They've raised three daughters, and have three grandchildren.
