High Tech High Media Arts is a charter school that is part of the High Tech High network of schools.

This book was written by a team of fifty eleventh grade students from HTHMA. These students use professional writing, editing and publishing methods to generate a variety of publications for local, national and international audiences.

These students earn credit for eleventh grade history and English with an opportunity for honors through a publishing-centered curriculum. This class uses project-based learned pedagogy and primarily addresses American history and literature, although specific publications may focus on any of a broad range of topics in this class or others as well as students' lives and interests.
