Overview

I'm a Level 1 Trauma ER and Flight Registyered Nurse who went on to be schooled in and practice veterinary medicine. Kelly is my wife who is a Trauma surgeon that went on to practice in the nearest trauma center when we moved to Tennessee. This is a continuation of the detailed explanations of the trauma patients we both have cared for and what we both experience. I as a flight nurse and veterinarian and she as a trauma surgeon.

Details are related of our lives making the stories of drama, traumas and our everyday lives in which I practice as a flight nurse and veterinarian. As my wife practices as a trauma surgeon at the nearest trauma medical center.

Included are some of the occurrences of our daily lives that ultimately affect our professional ones. At the end a tragedy occurs that's yet to play out. This one is a 'nail biter' cause Kelly is critically injured, but will she make it out or will Paul have to go on with his family without his beloved wife. He has four children, but the question is will he be able to support them financially, because as a large animal vet he makes a suffiicient income, but will he be able to support them and himself emotionally without a wife and mother. If she does survive will she ever be able to function normally as a doctor and trauma surgeon again? It requires a high level of acquity to be a trauma surgeon and will she be able to maintain that level of functional capability or be too severely injured both physically and mentally from the injuries she's suffered from the event that put her in the coma. How long will the coma last? What will the out come be after the coma if she survives? She and other sustained injuries. Some weren't as severe as Kelly's, but there were other casualties. Read this suspense filled novel to get all the answers. It's based on real life, true story events. It's only one in an event, adventure, deatailed look into the lives of this family and those they interact with. At the turn of the next page there is trauma, action, adventure and reality that keeps your interest peaked to the last word of each book. What will happen next is the question you'll always be asking yourself. It's truly a real life thriller.

Editorial Reviews

FB - Roberta Reed
This is an excellent continuation of JP Struck's ER After Midnight Series. With the ending it is in evitable that there will be a sixth book, but I can't wait to read it. The only thing I can compare it to is his 'Secrets' series. It has an endeing not at all expected after Julie Anderson spent years trying to apprehend the serial killer to have the twist of an ending.of the 'Secrets' is totally unxpected, yet deserved after he killed so many women.May have started out as good, but ended right.

Meet the Author

I'm a Registered Nurse, as you will read on the first page of my books, lost a daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and they are all dedicated to her and her sister, who is 14 presently. After which my wife and I thought it would be a good idea to move out of the area, outside Charleston, WV, where we lived. We unknowingly surmised that getting away from the reminders of our daughters death would allow us to heal our minds and hearts of the tragedy.

We mistakenly decided that I should join the Navy as a Registered Nurse and officer. Read: NCIS: Behind the Glory to find out how the Navy almost killed me and how. This becomes quite dramatic, but is completely based on a true story. There are 'exact' quotations of 'actual' notations of conversations and other occurances. It has been labeled with 4 and a half stars, on Barnes and Noble. Read the notations of what others have written about this true tale of injustice, persecution and mispropriety committed. Find out how the military truely treats their soldiers and sailors. It's not a 'pretty' story, but it's all true. Sadly I almost lose my life, but I was allowed to transfer back to West Virginia to get medical treatment. Since July 9, 2004 I haven't received a paycheck from the Navy since. My medical, dental and other health coverage was cut off in March of 2008 in attempts to discourage my pursuits of being Medically Discharged from the Navy. If this achievement is met the Navy would essentially admit malpractice, among other negative practices. If your son or daughter has ideals about joining any branch of the military make sure they read, this grapic explanation of what they can potentially have committed against them. Make sure they don't sign away their lives to become the personal property of the Federal government, because that's exactly what they will become 'property'. Tell them to read this book to find out the truth, that's not told by the recruiters, posters or commercials.
