When I first saw this book I imagine I was thinking more of a ham and eggs approach. I wanted to know what everyday Germans did. That is to say, what did they eat for breakfast and dinner. Did they read or go to the movies. What were their recreational activities? These were the things I wanted to know. And, while Richard Bessel gives us important information, that information is not unlike what students of the Nazi regime have seen before. While a good effort, the title may be a little misleading. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
