Donny Osmond has produced a well-written, grab-your-attention biography that does not shy away from his experiences with agoraphobia, self-doubts and professional struggles.

Donny Osmond is like whoa cool. He was such a little kid when he started singing. The book is cool. I mean look at the songs he sang: Sweet and innocent to I'll make a man out of you. If you like Donny you'll like this book.

Ya know, I've got to say that it is very satisfying to see that good guys don't always finish last. Donny's faith perserverance, and good ol' fashioned hard work show that cream always rises to the top. Donny has always been a top talent of the last 25 years, and too bad it took the baby boomers 20 years to grow up and admit it. And good for Donny to share with everyone the struggles he has faced due to the ignorance of a cynical public - His book is truly inspirational, and hopefully it inspires shame in those who turned their backs on him during the 80's. I was proud to buy, read, and share this book with everone I know.

after reading Donny's book, I felt that I knew him better and that I wasn't the only one who felt the way he did about certain things. I applaud you for this wonderful book

This book has helped me in more ways than one. It first of all, led me to see the true meaning of family. After all these years in show buisness, Donny (and the whole Osmond family) remain grounded and family oriented. My respects to Donny's mother and father, who are heroes in their own right. Secondly, and most importantly, it showed what a social phobia is and what it can do to your life. I have it as well, and this book opened up possibilities to people like us. Donny's life would, I thought, be a sugar coated story of a loving family and a son who would forever be remembered for 'Puppy Love'. But, after reading the first chapter, I realized, although Donny has a loving family (that remains true), his life was hardly sugar coated and half of his audience today has no idea what Puppy Love was. (Though if they watch the Rosie ODonnell Show they would know) Donny has faced more hardships than anyone knows, but his family helped him through the hard times, and he came out on top, not afraid to be wrong, or even a bit silly sometimes. From the day he was born, to his triumph on stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcaot, to his amazing return to television with his sister Marie, it's all here and wonderful. This book is so wonderfully written that I read it in a single day - I simply could not put it down. It remains as one of my favorite books of all time. I think Donny is an inspiring person. This is a must-have for anyone.
