Intense, Intriguing and Emotional After hearing Ryan Kelly's first album, " In Time", you crave for more of his intense reflections on real life. He sure delivered that and much more with his aptly named, second album, "Life"; it is intense, emotional and inspirational. His music can reach every emotion in you in one song, making the broad talent of this award-winning performer shine through on this one. The variety on this album gives something for everyone, and is definitely worth listening to.

"Life" is an incredible roller coaster ride of emotions that lives up to its title. It will make you smile and laugh, dance and cry...just like life itself. "Life" serves as a reminder to live each day to the fullest. We only get one shot, so don't forget to LIVE! There'll be good and bad, happy and sad...but there's always hope. A mix of subdued, introspective tracks and up-tempo danceable ones, most penned by Mr. Kelly himself. All 13 tracks are well-written, beautiful, and emotionally conveyed. Like a soul laid bare. The final track, "Live for Life" relays finding joys and hope in the midst of life's trials, encompassed within the anthemic feel of Mr. Kelly's voice, African drums, and a Zimbabwean choir. If I could identify a favorite, this would be it.  There's something here for everyone!  It will leave you smiling and ready to face whatever life has in store.

The title of this album sums itself up perfectly. Meaningfully written and beautifully orchestrated, it manages to echo many of the  emotions we all experience in our own lives. It moves from thought provoking to toe- tapping, tender to up tempo and will not only bring a tear, but also a smile. And best of all it will leave you dancing and feeling ready to embrace what life has to offer.

Ryan Kelly’s second album Life is probably one of my favorite albums. Ever.  The album is filled with a variety of songs that appeals to everybody. And if you’re a fan of Celtic Thunder, you should have this album. This album for me is much more personal and it feels that way as well. It’s been in my car on repeat since it came out in December.  I repeatedly listen to “Where I Belong”, “Live for Life”, and “Significant” at home. If you’re looking for an amazing album full of songs that appeal to every emotion, Life is the one for you. - Katrina
