Victor Olliver is one of the UK's leading consultant and media astrologers. His weekly star-signs column is published in Britain's most venerable glossy magazine, The Lady - he became its first astrologer in its then 125-year history in 2011 - and he broadcasts regularly.
He earned a first class diploma in astrology (natal and mundane) from London's Mayo School of Astrology. And presently he's on the council of the Association of Professional Astrologers International and a member of the Astrological Association of Great Britain.
Lifesurfing 2014 is his first astrology book.
Before he turned to astrology as a full-time career, he won two awards from the UK's Periodical Publishers Association for his celebrity interviews and travel journalism. His work has appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, the Daily Express and many glossy magazines such as Marie Claire.
In addition to his freelance writing career he has occupied senior editorial positions in the British media, such as at Mirror Group and Daily Mail General Trust. He covered the Cannes Film Festival and many other cultural events for many years as an entertainment and film editor.
Though called to the English Bar he has never practised.
He currently lives on the south coast of England and travels widely. His astrology clients are diverse - and keep him busy.
