The best, most informative writings about the Yankees World Series triumphs. A refreshing, first-hand account of each Series and the preceding season. The author brings to life each year and series in a uniquie, believable, informative style. Even the series that were played before my lifetime, prior to 1947, read like those of recent years which I witnessed on T.V. and was kept abreast of with media coverage. The sad, shortened lives of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Thurman Munson are presented in a most realistic, heartwarming manner. Once you read the intro to each winning season, you can't put it down until you finsh. This book takes you on a fabulous journey through the Yankees winning years. A ride every Yankee fan should take.

An excellent retrospective of all of the Yankee world series wins during their first 100 dynasty. The author made you feel like you were watching all of the excitement with him. A must have for all fans of the Yankees and their history
