    Excellent

This is a rich, never before told history of the early American frontier, the Puritans and Pilgrims in search of religious freedom, their fervent dedication to their God who directed them, and the turbulent hardships they suffered when they swayed from acknowledging Him. The authors pored through old manuscripts, logs and diaries to find some incredible writings and fascinating history we never learned in grammar school. Not sure to what the previous poster refers when speaking of revisionist history, as it is clear the "history" we received in school is what has been revised, considering the well-documented facts presented in this exhaustive research.

    Highly revisionist.

This is full of inconsistencies, misinformation and history revisionism. The author ignores the fact that many of the Founding Fathers were Deist and Agnostic (as well as various types of Christian), it completely ignores the Treaty of Tripoli, and is generally more of a propaganda device than an actual learning tool. Overall, it is intellectually dishonest. I am a Christian, but I will not be using this for my children. It would be equivalent to telling them that the Holocaust never happened, or that the US was never a series of British colonies.
