Falls into same routine most other lighting books do.

A well written book with excellent organization. It lets you easily and quickly find details for specific types of layouts and lighting effects. Note, however, that there is almost no discussion of metering technique and most importantly, no examples of lighting techniques done wrong. One could improve their technique significantly by comparing their mistakes against professional mistakes in the book and know where to make the proper adjustments. Too many books simply print the 'final product' type shot without showing what happens when certain techniques are missed. That's what makes this book average overall.
