I ordered the book, anxious to read it. When it came, for some reason, I couldn't read it, I avoided it for a week or so. Then one day, a day that I was unusually despondent and filled with self pity, because things weren't going as I had planned, I opened the book. It is a simple book, not very long, and took no time to read it. Then I read it again, slowly. It occurred to me that it was speaking directly to me, at this time in my life, as I am floating around in my chrysalis, a meaningless blob of goo. I needed to let go, of my pre-concieved notions about how my life 'should' be going, and allow it to go the way it must go. It was a revelation, and this book spoke to me, at the right time, about the right solution I needed to get over my self, and back on my path. It took a while, but I am emerging now, getting ready to fly. I have always thought I could fly, but let disappointments and impatience prevent my wings from developing. Thank you Melody, for this book, this revelation, and this life-story, it has profoundly changed my life. Read the book, it is a parable, and will teach you to fly. It has become a regular read for my grandson, too!
