    Great story

I truly enjoyed this story over Harriet's story. There was more suspense and action in this story. I especialy liked the fact that I could not figure out who the bad guy was until it was revealed (unlike other stories where it is easy to detect the villain). I hope there is a trilogy with this author because it seems the stories get better and better.

    Sweet short romance

I enjoyed this sweet and short 167 page story about the second sister of the family, Lillian, and how she met and fell in love with Jonathan. Now that I have read Harriet and Lillian's stories, I hope the next one about Margaret will be released soon.

    Sweet story

Short 160+ page story. Characters/story were much more detailed and the ending not as rushed. Will watch for this author

    Fair story

Distracting editing mistakes, story ok, characters undeveloped and bland.

    163 pgs, another insipid novella

I hate short stories & novellas, & the only good thing about this one was it didn't have 50% more pages devoted to previews of other books.

This is SUPPOSED to be REGENCY, but the dialogue is distinctly American, as is the idea that the heroine would invite the hero into her bedchamber for an overnighter, not only before the wedding night, but even before any proposal!!?? I definitely don't mind sex scenes, but I'm sorry, too many changes from the Regency genre . . . if you don't like the Regency genre, just write something else! Gave it one star, simply because it won't LET me give zero!

    the cover is misleading

I'm not really into historical romance, so imagine my surprise when I started reading it and this book was. I took it based on the synopsis, which also didn't really mention the setting. if only the author took the time/money to invest in making a better cover that gives a clue to potential readers what the book is about.

I enjoyed how they met. How it all came down. I was surprised how the drama started and ended. I enjoyed this book as much as i enjoyed the first.

I can't believe this was free! Such a loving sweet story. Ther

I can't believe this was free! Such a loving sweet story. There is some intrigue in this story that added to the telling. I didn't figure out who the villain and was surprised, which is a good thing since this is a short story and the author wrapped it up nicely. I didn't read Harriet's story, and didn't feel a disconnect with Lillian's. Give yourself a couple hours, and get lost in a good way. There is only one love scene, which is not descriptive. (ljb)
