This is an excellent account on Lincoln's last hours. I could not put it down and ended up reading it straight through. The Lincoln physicians' account of those last hours is very well written. I am a RN and found this physician to be well ahead of his time on many levels. President Lincoln is one of my favorite Presidents and reading this was very captivating for me. I strongly recommend this book

In our present day world of self-help, good health, wellness, divine guidance, inspirational "TED" talk, motivational, spiritual focused media -- Lincoln sets the standard for practicing and preaching about living well and wise. I read this book one quip, story, joke, expression, joke, and thought at-a-time per day. 150 years are transparent with A. Lincoln. He is as funny, engaging, and charming now as he was then. Having read many similar tomes, this book is a great compilation of some of his better quips and barbs. C'mon... you've GOT to love Lincoln!
