A bit too early 90s rock for my taste, but still Linda

I was surprised to see that this CD hadn't warranted a review yet! Having followed Eder's recording career closely for several years, I was glad to find a couple of her earlier albums, this and And So Much More. While Linda's self-titled debut album is a little bit too early 90s rock for me (like Love is Forever, A Little Bit of Heaven), it's still Linda from start to finish, and if nothing else, shows how she has progressed and changed as far as style, versatility and repertoire in the last decade. Still, it has a lot of selections that stay with you (As the River Runs, From This Moment On and Before I Fall in Love Again come to mind). Also, it introduces perhaps her most famous song, Someone Like You, from the Frank Wildhorn-penned Jekyll & Hyde, and the ethereal Vienna, easily one of her most passionate power ballads.
