    Pattern Writers could not count

I have never been more frustrated with a pattern than the Shapely Vest in this book. The stitch counts are completely wrong and the pattern makes no sense! Even my LYS owner couldn't make heads or tails of what the writer was thinking. DO NOT start a pattern in this book without going through and doing all of the math on the entire pattern!

    A reviewer

This collection is so fun. It is amazing to see a design look as good today as a hundred years ago. Well written and understandable. Lion Brand yarn is easy to find and very accessible. I wanted the antique patterns to be more authentic so I substituted Lion Wool for Wool-Ease with no problems. Just watch the yardages on the balls. The gauge was still great.
