Who says lawyers don't have a sense of humor? Stephan Pastis left that distinguished profession and never looked back (except to laugh at his former colleagues). And a good thing he did, too! Pearls Before Swine is one of the fastest growing comic strips today, appearing in more than 350 newspapers worldwide. Twice nominated for Best Comic Strip of the Year by the National Cartoonists Society, the strip won the award in 2004. Stephan lives with his family in northern California.

    Funny Comic Strip! Good for fans of Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, and Garfield

    This was hilarious. Pearls Before Swine is a great strip. The writer, Stephan Pastis, has a dark but funny sense of humour. The strips main characters are all animals. Topics in the strip that are written about quite a bit are death and celebrities. Stephen Pastis is not biased and does not write one sided political cartoons at all. If You are looking for a good laugh, try this book.

    Zebras and pigs and rats, Oh My!

    This is great. "Pearls" is my favorite strip. Unfortunetly this is the only book of it i have. Not for long though. After reading this, i will buy them all. Stephan Pastis talks about comic creators that have integrity in this comic, and says they retire before theur work gets stale. Mr. Pastis, don't you ever retire, or i'll have a breakdown. LOL.
