Random Stuff
#18
Now or Never
&nbsp That drat saturday. I ha<_>te saturday. No kidding, but this one seemed weirder than normal. It sort of killed me.
&nbsp My death, oh my death. Yes, that's what happened. I shall start from the beginning.
&nbsp The choice, they called it. It was after battle, in hospital. An uknown choice of life and death. The devils won't tell which side was to live, which was to die. I had to decide. If I was worthy, I'd do the live.
&nbsp I hesitated. They would not allow hesitation, so they whispered. "Now or Never!" To me. It was like an attic between two floors. Neither in life or death, which I later learned was the worst.
&nbsp To live, my scars would be an honor. To die, I'd be left in peace I do not want. I needed to choose life. But which side was life? "Now or Never!!" They rasped.
&nbsp I was too slow. It was a Never. "Never!!" They cackled. So I never got to choose life or death. I stayed in between, which was worst. I finally understood their "Now or Never" chants.
~Haunted &#8251 Spirit
