Overview

Every girl has her version of “The List,” a handful of goals she wants to achieve (school, travel, career, marriage, children, etc.) by a certain age. But if those dreams don’t come true according to schedule—or they do but don’t meet expectations—what then?

Marian Jordan (Wilderness Skills for Women) says there’s a better list to live by, a God-honoring, in-the-moment set of priorities that makes every season of life beautiful however long it may last. The biblical aspirations she prescribes and enthusiastically elaborates on are to Shine, Hope, Pursue Beauty, Seek First, and Dance. If a girl can embrace this list above all else, she may find herself already in the midst of her happily ever after.

GREAT BOOK-How to trade your list for God's list!

This book was eye opening to me. I live my life with a list... I use a to do list daily, I love lists! But having a "List" for the rest of my life only leads to dissapointment. By surrendering our "Lists" to Jesus we are surrendering our own plan for our lives for His plan which is better beyond our wildest dreams! If you've ever felt like you need to be married, or have a certain career, or have kids, or have certain friends, or wear certain clothes to accomplish your "list" then this book is for you. Marian writes about how we will never find satisfaction in anything other than a relationship with Jesus, and how we can have FREEDOM by surrendering our "Lists" to Him! GREAT BOOK!
