About the Author

Penny is from Winston-Salem, NC, where she works as a bilingual (English/Spanish) Medicaid liaison at the Winston Salem Transit Authority. She’s the mother of two, a son, Jesi and a daughter, Izabela. Some of her interests include vinyl records, decorating, nature, cooking, language, culture and religion. In the future she would love to travel and study photography. She really has a way of bringing life to the page, creating not only visual imagery, but in some poems the smells of tea or flowers or whatever she's talking about seem to waft off the page.
