    Fun and Nastolgic.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I bought it for a relative and now want one for myself. It brings back so many childhood moments that inspire any Grandma to re-live for her grandchildren. The photos are BEAUTIFUL! The content is giddishly FUN!

Great resource for Grandparents when the children are visiting.

I bought this as a gift for my sister who has just added her fourth grandchild. She loved it. I wish this had been written when my grandchildren were little. It is chock full of things like games, songs, crafts and even recipes to entertain and amuse the young child in your life. Many are things we remember from our own childhood and happy to pass on to the next generation. My sister and I would recommend this to all grandparents (including grandfathers) to keep with their treasures to be shared with the children.

    more from this reviewer

    Makes a great gift

I received this book as a gift shortly after the birth of my grandson and truly love it. It is filled with nostalgic illustrations, stories and nursery rhymes that were read to me when I was small, as well as games, recipes, etc. When a lifelong friend lost her mother recently, instead of flowers I sent her a copy of this book in honor of her two small grandchildren. She loves it and so do I! A treasure!

Nostalgia and Simple Values. Beautiful illustrations.

Love the format of this book which is fully dependent on the lovely old fashioned illustrations. Brings you back to the "good old days" when simple things meant more.
