    loved it

    I love keith lee's books. They touch on so many topics that go on in the world and leaves you examining the world yourself. This is a great book about love and loss during the times of slavery. If you haven't read the 1st 3 books I suggest you do so that you can fully appreciate this book as well as other keith lee johnson books as the characters in his books are connected some how. Highly entertaining read and you will not get board. Was not happy about the ending but then again life isn't full of happy endings.

    A MUST READ!!

    I was introduced to the series by my aunt. I read series 4 and I am now hooked. Book 4 should be required reading for all HBCU college students. My daughter just informed me that she has the beginning series, and since I have the summers off, I will be spending it reading works by Keith Lee Johnson.
