As I began to read LITTLE BLACK GIRL LOST THE DIARY OF JOSEPHINE BAPTISTE IT, I found that book very exciting, amazeing good, i thought i took an expert to write such a book, i don't know who told you that you couldn't write, but they were only talking out of the side of their neck, i love the way that bouvier put lauren in his last will intestament. and set her free i love this book im on book 5 now and im looking for more, it was something when lauren didn't know anyone in NEW ORLEANS, but she found her way, i love the way that Ibo Atikah Mustafa stood up for herself, and fought for her virginity, and i love the fact that she and admir were brought back together, it hurt the way he died, but i guess some things just have to happen in order for your life to be complete, i rate this book LITTLE BLACK GIRL LOST THE DIARY OF JOSEPHINE BAPTISTE 5 star and worth every penny, im now waiting on the next book. thank you but im reading book 5 now.

    loved it

I love keith lee's books. They touch on so many topics that go on in the world and leaves you examining the world yourself. This is a great book about love and loss during the times of slavery. If you haven't read the 1st 3 books I suggest you do so that you can fully appreciate this book as well as other keith lee johnson books as the characters in his books are connected some how. Highly entertaining read and you will not get board. Was not happy about the ending but then again life isn't full of happy endings.
