Well, the "Little Boy Lost" series finally comes to a close. This book was excellent, and it brings all story arcs and "loose ends" to a satisfying conclusion.
Barnaby is a very good writer. It shows throughout the series in the development of very real characters and story situations. These are books it's almost impossible to put down. I think that the last two books are the best in the series. One of her most incredible talents is writing the story of characters who don't make the "right" decisions and whose lives become very difficult and/or complicated as a result. That's the story of "real life," and she has a great talent for developing it into novels. Brava, Ms. Barnaby! Keep writing such great books, and I'll gladly buy and read them!
