    Great Story to Share with Children in Regards to 9/11

    I purchased this book at the Chapel on a trip to NYC Spring 2005. I am a current early childhood teacher and thought that this would be an appropriate book to share with students. Afterall, we will be educating students on 9/11 because children were either too small or were not born yet to remember the significance of that day. The Little Chapel that Stood offers a huge amount of hope and good that still remains in the world. Sharing this book with students introduces them to the history of the chapel as well as what it has gone through during the years, including 9/11. I used this book for a lesson in my Social Studies class and everyone was WOW'ed by it. It's not scary and it helps students to comprehend what happened on that day. Highly recommended!

    Beautiful way to talk with children about 9/11.

    A wonderful telling of the story of St. Paul's Chapel which stood across from the twin towers. When the dust cleared, the Chapel remained intact.
