Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"One of the best and most complete introductions to dreamwork."—Spiritual Frontiers

"At the more interesting end of the dream book spectrum we find books like Bosnak's, in which, after the basics of remembering and recording are taken care of, we get a taste of the interest and excitement the author feels on the subject of dreams, as we are invited to involve ourselves in our dreams, first through the eyes of the author and then entirely on our own."—New Age Digest

"Why do I like this book? It's full of surprises, charming, intelligent, subtle yet simple; not mystical or pompous as dream books tend to be. It never talks down. Ideas are original, deep, and many, and they are packed right into dream examples. This 'little course' is big stuff! There's nothing like it anywhere."—James Hillman, author of The Soul's Code

Time for Dreamwork! I never paid too much attention to my dream

    Time for Dreamwork!

I never paid too much attention to my dream-life until my daughter started experiencing night terrors and intense nightmares. After visiting two different therapists, we found a great approach to cope and learn from her scary dreams in The Nightmare Solution and now I’m ready to work on myself! I bought myself a dream journal and chose this book on dream work for its warm reviews and small size. There are a lot of similar resources out there, but what you can find in Robert Bosnak’s Little Course in Dreams are:
    - One of the best introductions to Jungian dreamwork
    - Brief, conversational, clear language that conveys complex information
    - Vivid personal anecdotes of dream-work from solo, partnered, or in group scenarios
    - Minor amount of technical jargon considering the type Jungian tome
    - Hands-on exercises for studying your dreams
I feel so much better in touch with myself now that I’ve started recording and analyzing my dreams.

The Best Intro to Dream Work

I work as a therapist with people's dreams. This book is the best I've found to introduce people to the subtle benefits of working with dreams. Bosnak's beautiful concise writing actually gives the reader the experience of falling into a state of reverie as the ideal frame of mind to work with dreams. He gives exercises to improve dream recall, and extensive examples of how he works as a therapist with individual dreams and a series of dreams from the same dreamer. This book provides practical therapeutically sound material, which will benefit anyone interested in developing a closer relationship with the dreaming mind.
