Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
The Little Blue Engine is loading up--one clown, two dolls, three soldiers and so on until she reaches ten bright kites. The items are shown in the railroad cars until kids get to the numbers eight and nine. There doesn't seem to be enough room on the pages of this board book to show the last carload. Too bad, since it would help reinforce the intended lesson.
