Aren’t these the cutest?

• Sixteen meltingly adorable animals

• All the favorites, including cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, more

• Easy to make, great as gifts, toys, decorations

All together now: Awwwww! In Little Felted Animals, author Marie-Nöelle Horvath shows how to make the cutest little miniature animals, using just a few simple tools and some wool roving. Birds, bears, cats, dogs, mice, a fox, a sheep, a seal, and a bunny—sixteen little bundles of fluff in all. Picture all those little eyes looking up at you as if to say, “Thank you for making me!” Then give these critters as gifts, use them as decorations, or arrange them on tabletops. Beautifully photographed in their natural habitats, these sweet dumplings will melt the heart of every crafter.

Library Journal

French designer Horvath here provides patterns and how-tos for creating 16 adorable felted animals. She begins with an overview of needle-felting supplies and techniques, as well as basic hints and tips for shaping different types of animals out of wool, then proceeds into more specific instructions for a variety of cute critters. The directions for the individual animals are on the skimpy side; although experienced felters would likely be able to follow along, those new to the craft might find themselves frustrated by the lack of step-by-step instruction and illustration. Nevertheless, Horvath's felted animals are adorable, and libraries where felting is popular will want to add this title.

I enjoy this book. I have made several of the projects. I felted my first cat the other day from this book. The example given was easy to follow, and with a little imagination, I created one of my daughter's cats. Needless to say, I will be using this book quite often. I am a novice at this, but this book helped me tremendously. I recommend it to anyone who is considering needle felting for fun or profit.

this book was adorable! There were many easy tiny gifts or accents that could be created in no time at all. I enjoyed making the small kittens and monsters for the holiday season. Most are made with items found around your home.

not a bad book for learning to felt animals, but i would like to see more views like front, side and back of the animals so i could construct them with a better prospective.
