Overview

The chartered Zarathustra Company had it all their way. Their charter was for a Class III uninhabited planet, which Zarathustra was, and it meant they owned the planet lock stock and barrel. They exploited it, developed it and reaped the huge profits from it without interference from the Colonial Government. Then Jack Holloway, a sunstone prospector, appeared on the scene with his family of Fuzzies and the passionate conviction that they were not cute animals but little people.

A decent story about the definition of sentience. My biggest pet peeve is that even the "good guys" treat the fuzzies more like pets than sentient beings, yet that is never addressed in the story.

Piper made it clear how important it will be when we finally find other life in the universe. If they are more advanced than are we, I hope they treat us better than the Fuzzies were initially treated.

Oak-- dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes. &infin Skull-- very very pale graywhite shekit with brown eyes. &infin Wildfire-- dark ginger with pale gold eyes. These kits need RP ers! Their mother was Flightfur who just wanted to b mated with, not have kits. She left them to die at Ethereal but a strange white cat saved them and dropped them at BloodClan grounds. Anyone wants to RP them i would appreciate it, but u should RP all of them. They gotta stick together for wat they have been thru. Reply to Fade. Thx!
