Starts a bit slow but then picks up at high speed. An exciting romance story with a wide variety of erotica. Interesting events towards the end. A must read. So different from other erotic books I've read. Couldn't put the book down. Very creative story.

Cynthia a stuck up snob finally puts her stuck up family behind to live life Ann turns her into a woman and not some woman with her nose turned up, working for the 1st time in her life at Ann's bakery (from book 1 A Little Harmless Sex) to earn a living making great goodies and to fall for one hunk of a man! I loved it and I think you will too!

This book's steam had me sweating. Love the dichotomy of submission and dominance. The author took me on an emotional rollercoaster that had me turning page after page. If you like BDSM play, you'll love this book.

Great read for a very erotic fantasy getaway, very easy read. The love scenes had me so focused that I almost forgot that there was a plot to the story lol!

The book came to my attention while I was looking for other books; and I am glad it did. While it is not a full blown dive into the "life style" as it is referred to by those into BDSM, it is a nice easy look into that world and how it can be.
Anyone who is offended by the idea of someone being bound and dominated, or someone acting like a submissive and being shared between multiple partners need not consider this book. This is not a "vanilla" read. It is going to upset some people; mainly those easily offended.
This book is an easy and enjoyable read. The characters are believable and enjoyable. The interactions are at times amazing. I am going to have to get the other books in this set now.
I highly recommend it for those with open minds who enjoy romance with a little more. For those of you easy to offend "Vanilla" types, do not bother; this book will likely offend. That, or it will awaken things in you that bother you and excite you at the same time, just as happens to Cynthia.

Coninuation from "A Little Harmless Sex" with excellent lead into new story. The main character's role in this book was not expected from picture depicted in "A Little Harmless Sex."

If you long for something more than a touch of "vanilla" in your sex life, this book will fuel that longing. Very sexy with vulnerable yet powerful characters. Loved it!

Yes....this book is steamy in most parts. That's why I read these kind of book, as I'm sure you all do, too. I want a book with love and romance, along with love scenes to complete it. BUT! I was sooooo turned off 3 quarters of the way through it. Without giving too much away, the 'relationship' between the two main characters and a 'friend', made me sick to my stomach. If he TRULY loved her, than he would never force her to show her love in this such way. I felt sorry for the female character, and found myself wishing I would take her aside, and say "You're better than this!!!" I was heartbroken for her when she began to cry, yet the author made is seem at if her tears were 'tears of JOY'. ???? I don't understand it, and found myself putting the book down, and not wanting to pick it back up to finish. When I read an erotic novel, I also want romance, and steamy love-making, NOT disturbing, gross, sex. That's what I got out of this.

This is book 2 in Melissa's Harmless series. Cynthia was engaged to Max in book 1 and Chris is Max's best friend. This book opens with Max and Anna's wedding and Cynthia having just a little too much champagne after standing up to her father to attend the wedding. Cynthia decides she wants to rebel by having a one night stand with someone that her father would disapprove of, and Chris is the lucky guy.
Fair warning, this book does some exploring of Dominant/submissive relationship. Chris is a switch (meaning he enjoys playing both roles, which evidently is not common) and is looking for a mate who has similar interests and feels he's found that in Cynthia... but first he has to introduce her to the lifestyle.
The thing I enjoyed most about this book is watching Cynthia come out of her shell and grow from a debutant, bred to do what her parents ask of her to a woman confident in herself and her sexuality. Let's face it, Cynthia was a biotch in the first book; so to see her mature and come into her own was quite rewarding.
I'm very much forward to seeing where the next books in the series are going to go. And Melissa has written a free short story as an epilogue, A Harmless Little Kalikimaka.

The characters were weak and so was the sex...ive read books about bsdm that were way better. This book was weak and i wont be continuing the series...i do however recommend the first book of the series A Little Harmless Sex
