    Excellent Help with Snow Leopard

    After reading the booklet bundled with my new Mac Pro laptop, I knew I was in trouble. So I hurried to B&N and found the Snow Leopard Little Mac Book.

    It is now my Mac bible. Thank you Robin Williams, author.

    Read Little Mac Book 9 years ago in school and bought this newer version for my mom, who's new to computers

    I was introduced to Little Mac Book back in 2000. I was a graphic/interactive design student and one of my professors required us to get this book. (Many students at that time were new to Apple computers). I already owned an iMac and knew how to use it, but there were little tricks and other features I didn't even know existed. It's informative and easy to follow. I like how it's written and the accompanying screenshots are helpful. (I'm a visual person).

    My mother recently started using computers and she's older/didn't grow up with computers, so she needs a lot of help. I bought her this newest version of the Little Mac Book and it's still written as well as the older version I have. She references it a lot and it's been a big help. I looked in the book store for other "how to" mac books and they were okay, but after flipping through this one, I realized that it's still the best, from what I've seen.

    FresnoMUG review of 'Litle Mac Book'

    The Little Mac Book by Robin Williams review by Marty Grauer, V.P. Programs, Fresno Macintosh Users Group ( Fresno MUG). The contents of this book are excellent for any beginning Mac user as well as Windows converts. The author assumes nothing is known about the currant operating system, Panther or OS-X 3. Beginning with explanations of what you will see on your screen and detailing what takes place thereafter. There is a Finder finder, Menu, dock, aliases sections and much more. This book is priceless for the information therein contained. Now and then it is of value to use a product then go back and read the manual. One will be amazed at what was forgotten. Read and study this book and definitely use it as an Instruction Manual referring to it now and then. I have been using Macs since 1984, and have found items forgotten. Marty Grauer, V.P.     Not a 'fish out of water' anymore!

    This book makes everything so simple and so much easier, even for over the hill welders like me. I thought I was left behind by this new generation of digital wiz kids, and maybe so But I will make a very good showing with my iMac and Robin Williams books. This author's books are a beginners 'must have'. A clear portal to the computer world. Daniel
