    Halloween Fun!

The little monsters cookbook is geared towards little monsters (aka young chefs), and the ideas are perfect for that age group. Not only are they lots of fun, but they are also quite simple to make, so that even young children can easily be involved in creating these spooky goodies. The little monsters cookbook has thirty recipes for Halloween treats. These are suggestions for everything from savory to sweet, which offers the possibility of having complete holiday meals, from appetizers to dessert. Vampires, werewolves, swamps and zombies are some of the themed type foods in the little monsters cookbook. I loved the simple apple slice Vampire Bites, which would be such a quick snack option. The teeny Mummy Pups are made from cocktail weiners and refrigerated breadstick dough. Their diminutive size makes them more of an easy appetizer than a full meal, so there can be lots of other yummy dishes, too. The Coffin Crunchers are simply cut from pita bread and topped with Italian seasonings and baked, making a perfect dipper for any of the tasty dips in little monsters cookbook. And mini Frankenstein heads made of marshmallows and placed on top of cupcakes are completely adorable! I like to sneak in a few Halloween ideas throughout October, since it's always a bit of a strain to get the kids to eat a good meal on that busy night. So, whether you are hosting a Halloween party or just hoping the kids will eat something before going trick-or-treating, the little monsters cookbook has all that you need!

Don't be fooled. This isn't just your run of the mill "prep for Halloween" cookbook. This cookbook shouldn't be used by:
those who refuse to play with their food
    those who lack imagination
    invisible friends
witches who live in a candy house
    It should be used by:
those who love a little chaos and creativity
adults to entice kids to eat (but not Witches who eat kids)
kids who play with their food
    those with a secret laboratory
"Werewolf skin is tough enough to withstand just about anything except for a silver bullet."
This is such a hands on book with every recipe accompanied by vibrant pictures to exhibit what the final outcome should look like. The contents are broken up into  devilishly deviant meals such as Swamp Creatures including such soon-to-be favorites like Swampy Dip, Monster-in-the-Moat Fondue, Swamp Gumbo, Punch from the Black Lagoon, and Eyes-for You Cupcakes.
Just after one meal you will be known as, 'The coolest mom ever" and hear praises such as   "totally swag," "epic," and "my mom doesn't let me watch scary movies," from the neighbor kids! You won't ever get to cook a normal meal again once you get your hands on this book!
Don't be scared. Okay, maybe just a little!
