This book was billed as 'wipe off' and it sure does. Right on your child's hands as they write across the pages. Guess what else... those markers that the back of the book say are washable.. well maybe the marker itself is, but the ink sure isn't. My 4 year old got the ink on his hands because it comes off the pages right onto his hands, and after 40 minutes worth of scrubbing and sore hands and every product in the house besides bleach... he's still green. (We're thinking of letting him go as Kermit the Frog for Halloween.) Want to know the kicker... the ink only smears on the pages.. to get it OFF, you have to wash it off, not wipe it. Overall... a big waste of money. I'll get the paper books that take a pencil and teach my kids to write letters and numbers with those instead, thanks. Was this review helpful?
