Rose Nestling is a pen name for the creative team at Cottage Door Press. We use a name like this when we work together on a story. We choose a name that stands for "red bird," which is our cheerful little mascot.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Hui graduated with a Sculpture and Fine Art degree.

An avid traveler, Hui once resided in London and Taipei, and more than a year in Paris and Lisbon. The colourful buildings, vintage furniture and blue sky in Lisbon, the city she loves most, has influenced and inspired her colourful style. Hui is passionate about animals, from tiny Termites to a giant Humpback Whales dancing in the Pacific Ocean.

Toddler-PreS—"Busy, Buzzing, Flitting, Flying, Singing, Stinging, Squirmy-wormy Bugs!" take center stage in a cheerful "first" science book that features fairly representative illustrations of bugs but still makes them friendly. The interactions help toddlers remember features of bug life and how to stay safe around bugs, even though not all of them have the capacity to hurt as defense mechanisms. VERDICT Even the scene of a dragonfly chomping on a small fly will not put young bug lovers off lunch. This is a great way to keep their curiosity growing.
