Live Albom IV is a collection of news stories written by Mitch Albom from 1993 to 1995. Albom was voted America¿s number one sports columnist writer in the mid-90s. He writes about some of the biggest sport stories that happened around the country to small stories about local sporting events that were not covered by the national media. Albom writes a lot about the Fab Five, the ¿Bad Boy¿ Pistons, the 1994 Olympics, local sports heroes that not many of us have heard about and much more. Live Albom IV also offers some writings that were non-sports related. For instance, Albom wrote a special series for this book on the Secret World Series, the greatest fall classic never played. Albom also offers editorials on important national stories that we all have heard of. For instance there are writings about Rosa Parks, Prom expenses and Connie Chung. Live Albom IV offers a lot of insightful information on past sporting events. I recommend this book for those that like watching and reading about historical sporting events. I also recommend this book for potential writers everywhere. Albom is truly a great writer and can be a real inspiration for those that want to go into the field of journalism one day. If you are a fan of Albom¿s other books like Tuesdays With Morrie, The Five People You Meet In Heaven and Bo, then you will be a fan of this book as well. So go out and grab Live Albom IV, sit on the couch, open up a fresh Vernors, and enjoy your day.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
