With all respect to Mr. Montgomery...

and his pending litigation, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HIS FINEST LIVE RECORDING EVER. Caravan of Dreams in Ft. Worth was a treasured venue and his tribute is as sincere as it is brilliant. I am sorry, Montiacs, but you can't suppress an artistic creation of this magnitude. If you've never heard or seen this virtuoso, you are missing quite possibly the greatest guitar player alive.

    BOYCOTT THIS RELEASE!

If you are a Monte Montgomery fan and have been dying for a live CD, DO NOT BUY THIS, as tempting as it may be. This CD is being released without the approval or authorization of Monte Montgomery. Legal action is being taken against TMG records. This is essentially a bootleg album. Here are Monte's own words from a press release dated 10/25/02: "Many of my fans are asking me about an album entitled "LIVE AT THE CARAVAN OF DREAMS" that is apparently being released by Antones, my former record company, in the next few weeks. That record has been made by Antones without my consent or permission and over my objection. I have asked my lawyers to take whatever action is appropriate to stop the release of the album." Monte is planning and working on HIS OWN live CD, which will hopefully be out soon. Please people, if you care about Monte and his career, skip this release and wait for the "real deal".
