Great live blues - down & dirty, Detroit style!

I've been a fan for a few years now, and while I'm sad a few standout tracks from his first album aren't here, Harmonica Shah's first live effort is darn good. While there are a lot of "borrowed" lines and themes from some of blues music's standard tunes, he weaves a good story and doesn't shy away from the hard, gritty life of Detroit. Every track here is a solid, no-frills salute to Shah's life and those around him. Jack de Keyzer's guitar bends and rocks, and Shah's mouth harp stands right up with Junior Wells, Carey Bell, and James Cotton, hands-down. I highly recommend this album.
