Live at the Mohegan Sun [Bonus Track]

Editorial Reviews

So that should explain why the early 21st century saw the re-emergence of all those 1980s hair metallists. And when you think "hair metal," Cinderella are probably one of the first bands that come to mind for most headbangers. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that Cinderella joined the likes of Poison and Ratt on the tour circuit around this time. And as evidenced by the release of Live at the Mohegan Sun, Cinderella still sound like they did in 1989. In other words, you get lots of ...

And as evidenced by the release of Live at the Mohegan Sun, Cinderella still sound like they did in 1989. In other words, you get lots of Aerosmith-like rockers "Gypsy Road," "Shelter Me" and tearjerker power ballads "Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone," "Nobody's Fool". One thing about Cinderella that you have to give them props for: there is little to no evidence of backing tapes aiding the group on this recording -- which is an accomplishment, since quite a few aging rock bands need such assistance on-stage nowadays. If seeing Cinderella live back in the '80s made your heart flutter, you're sure to find some glam metal pleasure in Live at the Mohegan Sun.
