Saw the concert at Red Rocks on AXS. Amazing mixture of blues, jazz, funk, and world music.

Imagine mixing Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers, and a horn section together and you get the idea. Delaney & Bonnie’s combination of Southern soul and gospel also seems to be a point of inspiration. This set seems to be more three dimensional than the Allmans’ One Way Out CD that Derek Trucks played on about 10 years ago. Both he and wife Susan Tedeschi unleash some fine guitar playing here and the backup musicians seem to jump from one style to another without blinking an eye. The covers seem to outshine the original compositions and that keeps me from giving this a 5 star rating. I plan to soon buy aTrucks live CD.

WOW!!! This collection of beautiful songs is one of the best both Susan Tedeschi and Deric Trucks have done so far! I have been a fanatical, loyal Tedeschi fan since her "Better Days" premier cd. On to "Just wont burn" and every one since. This highlites the fact that no matter who the couple plays with, or the song choices/ arrangements, whatever they sing or play is gold!

They made their debut with 2011's Grammy-winning Revelator, a sprawling collection that showcased funky R&B, gospel, blues, and scorching large band rock. Everybody's Talkin', a double disc, is a live offering from that supporting tour. Produced by Trucks, it includes live versions of some album tracks and six beautifully chosen covers; all its tunes are given extended, imaginatively arranged treatments. It's an unusual live record because its balance of sonic precision and stage-born kinetics is perfect -- this band transitions ...
