This is the first book to give the inside story of the unprecedented International Solidarity Movement. These are harrowing and poignant accounts from people committed to justice, dedicated to nonviolence, and longing for peace.

LIVE FROM PALESTINE is a must read!

Live From Palestine is an important publication that I advise reading for anyone who wants to see clearly the current picture in the Holy Land. It is a collection of essays and eyewitness accounts reflective of a heartrending reality Palestinians are living daily. It testifies to the consequences of the occupation. It voices an appeal to a world misguided by politicised media. The book is well crafted and balanced in the diversity of its contributors: Palestinians, Israelis and internationals who challenge mainstream media that enclaves our thinking within narrow passage of fictionalised `cycle of violence¿, while the truth lies in the devastating imbalance in power. One must recheck our role as Americans -- true democracy and freedom-loving nation-- in monitoring our own government and the open-ended support it provides to the occupying forces. The book reflects the story in a non-complicated way that anyone can read.
