All Music Guide - Ryan Randall Goble
This concert was originally intended to be a video release showcasing Stanley Jordan in acoustic, electric and solo settings. Not just a jazz musician

Stanley Jordan is one of the most unique and exploratory artists out there. This is a great collection of songs and really allows you to listen to his music which is filled with such passion and emotion rather than just fully concentrating on his technique because you can't watch him on a cd. I love watching him play as well but he even stated that the biggest thing he wants people to realize is his emotion behind the music and not just on how he plays it. A great cd for all instrumental lovers. His solo stuff is great, especially "Flying Home" and "Willow Weep For Me".
