Peter Rauhofer's impeccable taste shines through on his second collection of tunes inspired by New York City's Roxy club. Through juxtaposition, pacing, and by choosing any particular song's best suited mix, Rauhofer gets more substance out of mainstream house than most other DJs in the genre. Live @ Roxy, Vol. 2's first disc is the more upbeat and glittery with hits like Andrea Doria's "Bucci Bag," Amuka's "Appreciate Me," and ATFC's deep mix of Moby's "In This World" rubbing shoulders with some worthy lesser-known tunes.
