Weighing in at three CDs and three videos, plus a bunch of tour memorabilia, the sheer bulk of Live Shit: Binge & Purge scares off anyone but the most devoted fans, which is too bad. Although it is exhausting, this box provides ample proof of the brutal power of Metallica in concert -- the entire program of a Mexico City concert is included, and it is awe-inspiring. For hardcore fans, Live Shit is a godsend. [Reissued in 2002 as a 3 CD/2 DVD set.]

I have been a fan of Metallica since age 13. They are quite simply the best!!!!!!!!! Even though their new stuff is not heavy, I see that if you compare it to other soft music, it is way better. I see them as not needing to create more heavy stuff... they have already dominated the market long enough. I think they are being nice to the other stinky bands to make their mark. But back to the subject... METALLICA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!! This box set has the most awesome version of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" since it was performed on "Cliff 'em All" when their old bassis Cliff Burton was still alive (R.I.P Cliff! You ruled!) Bottom line METALLICA rules! So does this box set. As a matter of fact, i remember getting the first box set, and it was a hair away from $100 and still is. Now it's gonna be a lot cheaper, and better... because it will be on DVD, as well as CD!

This box set is amazing! All of the great hits from the 80s to the 90s are here. I got this for Christmas when I was a kid and I still love it today. The sound is exelant, footage is awesome, we see on the DVDs all the fans in Mosh Mode lol! The conserts were amazing and I wish I was there. The way it is shot it made me feel as I was part of the crowd which was totally kewl. I reconmend Metallica Live Sh!t Binge and Purge to all new and old Metallica Friends! You will get that statment when ya view the Dvd! I can't say enough about how completely blown away I am from this set. It comes with a book, a backstage pass from the actual consert and some other goodies. WELL WORTH THE PRICE STATED, if you are a true Metallica Fan it would be.

Folks, if you are a MetallicA fan, this was made 4u. Every fan of MetallicA fan should have it. Live shit:Binge and Purge has tracks you've most likely heard before, and that's the reason I like it. Nobody could possibly express it enough.

I enjoy all Metalica stuff because it decribes whats going on inside my mind.It shows that whoever listens to it knows what they sing/rock about in the song(s).Its a really good way to express what you feel without doing anything wrong.

As I said this reaaly IS something you have to see, especially if your passion is jammin' along to those poundin' tunes created by those four most talented musicians, Lars, James, Kirk, and Jason! The live action, the massive stage, the schitzo crowd, it's incredible! It is the long-haired version of Cunning Stunts, the other great thriller! I also reccomend you should get this. If you have the money to get this, then get it, it is more than five times worth its cost!
