    The last Elite Ops tale is more a pure romance than an action thriller

    Elite Ops Commander Captain Jordan "Live Wire Malone knew adding Tehya "Enigma" Talamosi to the unit six years ago was a mistake, but even he failed to predict why. Over the years, he came close to breaking his only rule about watching his squad's back a zillion times for her, but he never did. Now the contract is over and his team returns to normal lives raising families. For him, no way as he will hide behind the legend of Live Wire.

    Nine months ago Tehya left the team to open a business. However, someone is leaking top secret information about her, which makes her and any one close to her in peril. Jordan still protects his team even if they disbanded and some already have kids. He arrives to warn Tehya and have her back. However, this time he no longer can resist her lure.

    Although there are suspense elements, the last Elite Ops tale is more a pure romance than an action thriller. The story line is fast-paced yet filled with sex scenes and a chance to see how the team members have done since they went civilian. Tehya is a fascinating protagonist, but Live Wire feels different than in previous novels though one can rationalize he is being domesticated on the home front. Although tough love dominates the plot too much and his motive for being relationship phobic extremely weak, fans of the series will appreciate the climax of the leader and the female Elite Ops teammates trying to make it as a civilian couple even if the unit like the Hollow Men of T.S. Eliot go out in a "whimper not a bang."

    Great Series - Recommended

    This is a great series! I liked this book but not quite as well as some of the others in this series but still a great read! I would definetly recommend it!

    Excellent Read

    Lora Leigh does it again. In Live Wire we find that the story of the Elite Ops Unit has come to an end. This is Lora Leigh writing at its best. The story if strong and the characters come alive from the moment the first word is written. I give all praise to Ms. Leigh for showing how true romance can happen with the stroke of a pen.

    Big disappointment

    I was so looking forward to Jordan's story but the storyline was very disappointing. Dragged on and just a rehashing plot. It is as if Miss Leigh didn't write the book since it was not in the same calibre as her other books. Dialogue was minimal with long drawn out scenes that were replayed and rewritten :(

    Another Hot Read

    She did it again! This series was awesome. So glad that they all came together in this one. What a great ending. I feel in Love with Jordan from the beginning!

    Not great, but not bad.

    I love the books in this series but Tey, who I liked in the previous books, made it hard for me to stay interested in this book. She is a surviver, she has had to run and be strong her whole life. She fought for her freedom and her life and in the end killed the man that was responsible for killing her mother and many others. She was someone to respect and admire and but when it comes to Jordan she lets him completely use and abuse her. The qualities that I found I admired in her faded into the background and all I could focus on was how weak and pathetic she was. By the middle of the book I actually had to skip over the parts that had to do with Jordan and Tey's relationship, I could not stand to read it anymore. I will not stop reading these books but I was very dissapointed in both the characters of Jordan and Tey. She could have been AMAZING instead she was pitable.

    A Powerful Conclusion

    As usual Lora Leigh outdid herself, Live Wire is witty, touching, and of course steamy. Add the action packed danger we are used to and the book sizzles. This has been one of my favorite series and I hate to see it end but Leigh did do all us rabid fans a favor with teasers of what's to come. I was also glad to see all the characters from Navy Seals & Elite Ops come together in this emotional ending to save one of their own. On a deeper note Leigh reminds us that family comes in many forms & love will always pave a way. Bravo!

    Highly recommended

    I have read this series and found this my favorite of the series. The action and plot and charcters in the book are great. In fact I would recommend the whole Eli Ops series by this writer. I have read them all. I know this write is know for her sex scence but the book also has a grat plot and story line. I was really taken abock my the chacater Jordan. The ending was so not what have expected.

    Where's the Proofreader???

    Story is OK, but I kept getting distracted by the grammatical and typographical errors. Hey, can we learn how to use commas, please? Yikes. I hate to say it, but I think there's too much xxx and not enough meat here! I guess LL is having a hard time transitioning to mainstream from Elloras Cave. A little on the porn side for my taste, and the plot was rather bland.

    Did not satisfy...

    I've waited so long for Jordan's story, feeling very excited that it was finally written...and then became disappointed from beginning to end. There was no story...just a bunch of words written and I don't know if the paper book is the same as my e-book, but this book is fraught with grammatical errors. Such a big letdown...the love scenes left me cold.

    A Must read book!

    I love Lora Leighs elite ops series and this last book does not dissappoint! Loved it. Lots of emotion and intrigue. Waited a long time for Jordon Malone and Teya's story. This is a must read book even if you didnt follow the series you will still enjoy it.
