Commercial fisherman, family counselor, longshoreman, chaplain, tour guide, writer, pilot, pastor, businessman are just a few of the occupations that have given variety to Douglas Cooper’s life. He has written eight books, one of which has sold over 100,000 copies (Living God’s Love). Raised in a remote area of Alaska he now lives with his family in Northern California. He holds a Masters Degree in theology from Andrews University and a Ph.D. in family counseling from the California Graduate School of Family Psychology. He and his wife Pamela have four children.
