Living Faith is my inspirational reading every morning. Since I don't go to Mass every day it's nice to know the daily readings and get a mini homily which is written by a know Catholic author.

I have read Living Faith in print form in the past. I approached it as way to dig deeper into the Mass & its readings. I find I get the most out of it when I read that day's Mass readings from my bible along with it. I would strongly suggest that to anyone as a way to get the most benefit out of this. I also found solace that it was/is a way to get a portion of daily Mass. My responsibilities did not allow the time to attend daily Mass but Living Faith was/is a way to stay connected to God's Word on a more regular & deeper basis.

I read several thought for a day books, and this isn't my favorite. The reading is only a page and a bit more. Some of them were helpful, many did not knock my socks off. I prefer Charles Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Readings. (That is not the correct name) Spurgeon hits me with some of his descriptions of things I thought I knew, but he brings it home in a more visual way.
